help with monitor

i have a relisys lcd monitor witch will not show the desktop all i get is a message saying unsupport mode i think its something to do with the voltage signal from the graphics but i cant figure it out.and this company seems to have gone bust.wondered if anyone had any ideas

Dont think so, that means the monitor will not support the resolution you are trying to use, boot into safe mode, and play around with resolutions until you find one that is support..

Which model is it and what size is it?

i have tried it in safe mode nothing seems change it but it pick up some signal as it goes blank after 5mins until i touch the mose then it comes back so its picking some sort of signal the model is a relisys TL54ORU

Well I googled that and it cant find anything - try new cable - try auto adjust - does the montor have DVI as well as VGA?

tried another cable and it does not have a dvi connection this is really weird there must be some explanation
