Help with laptop keyboard

my mom's laptop keyboard is messed. when you press certain keys, it shows up a completely different letter, or even a number. plzs help me

is the Num Lock key on? (number lock)

Are you sure the keys arent switched around?

also, check your keyboard settings in Start>Controll Panel

they are not switched around. and theres no numlock on the laptop

nvm, it WAS actualy numlock. didnt know my moms comp even had it. have no clue how it couldve gotten pressed.
