A couple of weeks ago I started to have a problem opening attachments in my Hotmail accounts. When I click on "download" I get the following message:
"Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."
This message is contained in an elongated rectangular box superposed over the usual download box where I can see the little envelopes going across as if everything is normal. The download is never completed though.....I have let it sit for hours and nothing changes.
Additionally puzzling is that this does not happen every time. Some attachments are opened without problems. It doesn't seem dependent on file size either. I get the error message on very small attachments as well as larger ones.
Please help!
