hey where do i find out what kind of video card i have and other various computer info . i have a compaq presario with windows XP

On the desktop, right-click on my computer, go to properties, go to hardware, go to device manager, and there you can see things. Your video card will be under Display Adaptors.

Alternatively you can download Everest Home Edition from http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?dlid=1&lang=en.
