Help!!!!! Please

I was cleaning up removing some programs off my second computer and I seem to have removed my sound( if thats the right term)
how do I get it back?

Can someone please assist me.
I sound like a moron lol

First of go to start then right click on my computer or computer and click manage. within the new window click device manager and in the list look for sound, video and game controllers. click the drop down to see more and look for a device that has an "!" in a yellow triangle. report back if you have this

There is no yellow (!).
I am not in good shape am I?

Ok, have you tired a system restore back before you removed programs when it was last working. this should 99% do the job.
