HELP!!! Please Comp' Crashed

Hello EveryBody I Need Some help So My Computer Crashed And I Did A System Recovery But The Harddrive Space Is The Same As Before I Did The Recovery But When I go to (computer,Local Disk C,Documents and settings and it still has my documents folder but i cannot open it , it says Access Denied Because It Was private. Does Any One Know How I Can Either Open It To Recover My Files Or How I Can Delete It.

correct me if i'm wrong but system recovery is when you roll back the date of the comuter to an earlier time and formatting the C: drive will wipe everything out right?

which ever one of those wipes the C: drive completely use that, unless you have important files that you still need

there are some files that is need that is why i want to know if there is any way i can get them if not i will have to erase them
