Help - mp3 player

My mp3 player wont work, on windows media player, according to windows media player it says the songs are on the mo3, however, when i look at my mp3 it says, " NO DATA ! ", so i try the programme that it came with, sonic stage, however, i get this ;

error report
one or more tracks could not be converted
Unable to convert copyright protected content.

I really need help, ive put songs on this mp3 before, not a problem, but for some reason it wont work for me.
Please help.

try musicmatch or NCH Switch to convert them.

You have a Sony then yes? In which case, its probably an older model, so it'll only play after being converted or played through the Sony Software, since it'll be using Attrac, not MP3, somthing to my knowledge WMP can't play.

Sony should have given you software to convert from one to the other though.
