im guessing your PSU is made my "Corsair"?
i dont think the 9950 is worth it, i would prefer to go with the 9850.
try to get better timings on the RAM
for the HDD, Samsung Spinpoint F1 is considered the fastest 7200RPM
I wouldnt go with 2GB DDR5, unless you play on a really really really high resolution, its best to go with 512MB, or a 1GB if you want.
$600 is a lot for a 4870, why not go with a 4870 X2 instead? or just two 4870 and CF it?
The Antec 900 case isnt that good, i would choose the Cooler Master 690 case, i kind of wish i didnt sell mine.

where are you getting the parts, they seem like they cost more than its suppose to.

Hell, I would go with a Q6600 and an X48/P45. I don't think DDR3 is worth it either. Teny, I agree on the HDD choice. Go with the HD4870X2 if you're speding $600 on a card. If you're from US/Canada, please, do your wallet a favor and use newegg.

Good Lord. Use Newegg.
You can get that Processor for $30 less. Do you plan on OC'ing it? if not, BE probably isnt worth it.
I agree on the rest of what they say. Though if you want AMD, go with it.

problem with newegg is that we are not sure where he lives.
if he lives outside the US or Canada, then he cant use newegg, and have to use alternatives.

A few questions, do you overclock? (if yes, mild? or serious?) What is your budget (in your currency)? Where do you live?

If you do overclock, make sure you go with one of the new 790GX or 790FX/SB750 boards as the new southbridge improves Phenom overclocking A LOT, about 200MHz-400MHz.
Thermaltake CL-P0369 MaxOrb Enthusiast CPU Cooler. $62.25
The best air coolers out at the moment are the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and the Xigmatek HDT-S1284, both cost around the same price and outperform the MaxOrb by quite a bit.
Diamond Radeon HD 4870 800MHZ 2GB GDDR5 $619.99
I assume this is the HD 4870 X2? I would go with Visiontek, only ATi partner with a lifetime warranty.

@ Teny, HD 4870 X2 comes in 2GB (2x1GB) flavours only, so 1GB.

And please no Antec 900, I despise that case. There are better cases around. Take a look at the Cooler Master RC-690 or the Stacker 810.

Like the others have said, those prices are pretty steep, if you do live in the US or Canada, use Newegg.com/.ca
