However I bought another stick of ram locally, and to no avail.

I hope the Shack has one I will check tomorrow, if theyre even open.

See this sucks hard because when I was young this was the place I went to get components for my projects, then they left our area. And I don't know if there's any more in England.

We have Maplin's but like you said about 'Shack they have started to sell everything else apart from electronic components!

I go to Mouser now...

Yeah, Radio Shack... Its the only local place with out driving an hour. Its funny you mention a small speaker... I was gonna try a speaker I have that uses no internal amp and just touch the pos and neg wires too it and see what happens.

I will let you know if I get it.

Well, I think I did it right because when I first touched the wires together on the prongs I got some static so there is power going to it.

However, I got no beeps.
