The only thing im worried about is the ocz ram, talk around the EVGA forums have been about ocz ram and the 790i, but what you guys recommend

I would go with the ocz. It is faster. Now I wont buy any RAM but kingston which I didn't see any with the speeds you are looking for.

Yeah; DDR3 DC has taken an EXCEPTIONAL plunge due to DDR3 TC (the X58 express) dominating the definition of "gaming rigs". DDR3 DC has become so cheap it's rediculous. As Tech mentioned, there were some bad compatibility reports about OCZ RAM and the 790i board; but only on OCZ's "Intel Extreme" edition ram. I have the SLI SPD RAM from OCZ (PC2-6400) and it proves to run exceptionally well, but then again I have a 680i. Like we talked about last night Tech, you could run the risks and have it turn out both ways...but the OCZ RAM is cheaper/faster.

ya, dang man, i really want to go with corsair because i love corsair but the timings and latency is better on the ocz as you have told me. They are cheaper to so ya lol

UPDATE: I guess im just going to go with the OCZ but im going to buy 2 sets, i know 8 gigs is overkill but some people have reported one of the sticks failing and I really dont have the time to wait for an RMA as i use my pc for buisness aswell.
