k i'll prob contact dell or do some internet searching, but to answer your question halfheight still uses pci-e in my case it just shorter because of the case specifications, it usually has different brackets you can switch out. i.g. one with DVI one with VGA and s-video.

wtf is half height video card..i really think htere is nothing called that, please explain..there is PCI(Lowest quality gpu's) AGP(Medium Quality GPU's) PCI-E(Best Quality GPU's) Those are the slots you can put them in..most likely you have a pci-e or an AGP for a gpu..please explain.

half height has nothing to do with performance. its teh physical size of the card. a half-height card is simply not as big as a normal card. Maybe the NVidia 5700 will come in a half hight version, but i'm not sure.

You might have to replace the MOBO, i've seen comptuers without the APG slot or PCI-E
