Don't use Microsoft products, you have been warned.

Use alternatives, 'Yahoo Messenger'!

its not just that dude. I cant use yahoo messenger to fix the problem it does it with the netframework which is very important and also it does it with windows media player and some updates I need to install...

Someone try giving me a real answer besides "Use Yahoo Messenger"

Try contacting MSN Support

or

Delete bootstrap.exe and MSN Messenger & all it components then download Bootstrap and reinstall MSN Messenger

Bootstrap.exe should be stored in
'c:\DOCUME~1\Daniel\LOCALS~1\TEMP/IXP000.TMP\'

Hopefully all other programs and up-dates will be sorted

Picked this off another site, it seems that a lot of people have had your problem but there is no clear answers on how to correct it:

If you are experiencing the error “Error creating process <{temp file location}>\bootstrap.exe /MSN” when installing MSN Messenger, the following may apply:

1. The MSN Messenger install file did not download correctly.
2. The package of the Setup file did not get extracted correctly.

In order to resolve the issue please try the following:

1. Download the MSN Messenger installation package

a. Create the folder C:\MessengerSetup to download the Messenger installation package.

If the folder already exists, select its contents and delete all files in it.

b. Go to http://messenger.msn.com ---OR---
