smf is on godaddy already, you just go to metropolis or something like that and it'll install it automatically for you, then you can update it to the latest version (i think they have 1.0.9 or something horribly outdated

kl so what exactly is godaddy, i kinda guess a host n doamin supplier. if i buy a domain somewhere else can i stil luse godaddy with the forum?
