Hello all,
I am a fairly recent victim to a nasty rootkit and so I have created an account on a few different tech style boards to kind of improve my own technology knowledge and to help hopefully have better practices in my computer and online practice security wise.
A little about myself I am 28 and work in Administration. I enjoy reading mystery books and I do a little writing when I feel inclined. I am not "computer stupid" so to speak but I am not a techy person either. My goal is to improve my technology level overall.
A couple of fun technology facts about myself, I grew up with the Windows 95/98 scene and had Windows XP for YEARS. I recently tried out Windows 10 for half a year and enjoyed the overall experience. I have returned to Windows 7 after my rootkit issue with a clean install. Installing Windows 7 was my first install so this was a new experience for me as well.
