Heads Up : Work Being Carried Out To This Site On Saturday

Hi

Just to give you a bit of warning, On Saturday morning UK time I plan to make some SEO changes to this site in an effort to bring in more traffic to this site. Before I start this work I plan to take a backup of this site, Because the site has a big database i expect the backup to take 1.5 hours, during this time the site might run slow. I will post again when I have started the backup.

There should be no down time to the site saturday but I just wanted to give you advanced warning what was taking place

I ALWAYS close my site when doing backups. There is too great a risk of corruption if it gets busy while making a backup of the DB.
These guys are used to the forum being down for long hours even days so that's nothing new.

Thanks for the heads up. Seti is right, this site used to go down a lot....lol.....1.5 hours is nothing.
