How good of a drive would u say this is?

im sorta on a budget. but not really. i just dont wanna go for something way excessive like a raptor. i just want a good sata drive. cuz i'll have another 10gb IDE drive for random files

its a good drive, but you could probably double the capacity for $5-10 more.

well i have an extra 120GB HD that i plan on using for all my personal files. and then that SATA for my OS and its 3.0GB/s so it'll end up runnin pretty fast and smooth.

it depends how your using the harddrive, for games? files to be saved? for fast speeds? you tell me and i'll tell you or someone else will

It'd be more cost efficient to buy a higher capacity hard drive, that's for sure (you get 500GB for 95-110), but if that suits your purposes, that's fine too.
