install the new hard drive and boot up with the disc in the cd drive....that should be all there is to it, the disc should take care of everything, and it will be back to like the day you bought it.
I'd install both of them into the computer. Put Windows XP on the small one, and all your programs and what not on the bigger one. That way, if you need to reinstall windows, you wouldn't lose all your programs.
