have you ever......

have you ever had your main rig go down for a short amount of time
and you need to get the info from it ASAP
like your bookmarks, certain files, high $ programs that you cannot afford to buy time and time again?
i keep finding myself in this rock and hard place
does anyone have any ideas?
is there any way i could sync most of my data across multiple PC's?
any suggestions? or options, or comments are welcome.

Make Backups, regular backups. Of everything, or at least of the stuff you can't be without. Then you've always got it, and its not more than a week out of date.
