Has anyone Else Recived an E Mail from tech-forums?

Hellow Gyes.

Recived an E-Mail today at 16.27 off "Walkerjadenat" from tech-forums looking for People to take part in an Internatinal Viral Campaign.. Email wasnt filterd out and in me Inbox, "Walkerjadenat @ Tech and Computer Forums" , is this someone who works or is an Affiliate of techist.com. Or has me Acount been Comprimised?

Walkerjadenat is the name of a new member who just joined today. I checked the IP address for Walkerjadenat and it is being reported as activity consistent with a mail server. I've noticed this type of activity at several forums recently. A spammer joins the site and starts going through the members list looking for other members who have not disabled the option to receive emails from other members.

Walkerjadenat is now banned.

You should check your settings and turn emailing off like I have.

Surprised that option isn't disabled by default, why would members need to email other members?

I'm pretty sure it *is* disabled by default, I always enable it though. Lol you seriously can't think of a single reason a member might want to email another? Always had that option ticked on every forum I've visited, no spam yet
