Somebody probably copied files to the root of the C: drive. Look for AUTORUN.INF or *.ICO or any other things that don't belong at C:/ and delete them.

It's Vista Silver.

Try this:
Folder options-->File Types, click on the drive icon in the menu and then click on the advanced button. Then choose the drive icon.

Also try:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
And set the default value to "none."
