hard drive help...please

Dear All
I am desparately in search of a second hand hard drive of a specific type. My own hard drive has a disfunctional controller arm meaning I cannot retrive my data which is of considerable sentimental value.

If anyone knows of such a hard drive being about please, please let me know. here are the specs; The drive is a "Maxtor DimondMax VL 40" and the model No is "32049H2".

If not, go to maxtors website and ask about retailers that might still carry them.
