Happy Stupid Hat Day (Melbourne Cup Day)

It's the first tuesday of November. Every year, it's Melbourne Cup Day. It's a holiday for Victoria. Not the rest of the country. However considering that no one gets any work done on this day as they are quickly heading off to the race track or pub, it might as well be a public holiday.
