that would be Apples first step into Bionic animals. They are using a heavily modified version of Mac OS X as the OS for the artificial parts. This animal can connect wirelessly to any Access point, providing instant internet access, no matter where the owner is. The "tail" of the animal is the wireless antenna/Power cord for recharging the Li-ion batteries. It's a bright, fuzzy, pleasant animal that never get's sick or has fleas, but it is very specialized. Because of the latent AI and the wireless connectivity, the animal has a penchante for cruising the internet. It noticied an incompatibility with the collar it was forced to wear, and as such searched for help. Between Microsoft's collar and the Mac parts, there was much confusion, but after a short time on this forum, he was able to sort things out. Since then he has been a valuable member.
