Glad you had a good one. They tend to suck more and more often as you get older. I'm looking forward to this year's, though, and I don't know why. Odds are we'll be broke and I won't get anything that I actually want, but I am still looking forward to it. I have already schedued to have it off from work.

I believe every birthday should be a good birthday, sure you don't need as many presents as you got when you were young cuz you're able to provide for yourself. I just think that people should celebrate birthdays in a happier mood rather than "oh it's your birthday here's a random gift". I give all my friends and family things I know they like or collect on their b days. It's better to get a b day present that shows some thought and reflects who you are rather than some random gift in my opinion.
