H100i, is it really king of AIO's?

I have been trying to decide on what cooler to go in my new build featuring intels upcoming 22nm 6 core cpu. I have looked over quite a few reviews and benchmarks for various AIO's (all in one) coolers.

I am not a heavy overclocker, I tend to run my rigs at a modest clock for 24/7 computing.
But I do like benchmarking my rigs after setting them up to see just how far I can push them, because this gives me a feel on where the middle ground is for my modest clock.
Example: I run my 920 from 3.6 to 3.8, these will go a bit higher, but no need for me to push mine.

The H 80i is single fan, the H100i is dual fan, the performance gap is not very large, but the price gap does seem to be.

One day I would love to learn how to do a custom water build, but for now an AIO will have to do, because not only do I want a good cooling option, I need the extra room it will provide me over the motherboard.

Price is not that big of an issue. The biggest question I have with the H100i is is the tubing long enough to reach the bottom of my case where it would be mounted. If I used the H80i, it would mount right on the rear exhaust slot.

I would not say it is the king of AIO. NZXT puts out a 140.2 setup for more travel and air flow.

The biggest difference between the H100 and H80 is the fact that you can strap 4 fans to it and the water has more room to travel to cool off. Not to mention, more fin surface area. I haven't seen any real testing done with 4 good fans vs 2 good fans on the H80 with the same CPU and overclock so hard to tell whether it really makes a difference. I know on custom water it does, but we are talking copper tubing there.

Will it fit on the bottom of the XB? I'm not sure. If it doesn't you can always send it back for an H80.

That's just a rebranded Astek 570 cooler

Actually, it isn't. The NZXT is a dual instead of single for up to 4 140mm fans, unless you mean their 570LX. But saying Corsair or Antec so and so is a rebranded so and so is quite obvious. All coolers that style are either made by CoolIT or Asetek.

If I can't get my phase fixed I plan on using that for my 3960x then a 180.2 rad for my GPUs. Hoping it's up to the task.

Maybe. Depends on if they sell the block separately. If they do, would probably be cheaper to buy that and a better rad to attach it to.

Oh it is, but their point is "you can add later if you want". For the price though, that is getting too high for an AIO.
