It depends on the application, some programs take advantage of the SLI setup better than others.

Why am i an ATI fanboy?

by waiting for ATI to release its cards the prices of both ATI and NVIDIA cards will come down.

I dont know I justfigured because of the avatar. And youre right thats what im going to do is wait. Thats why I bought a 7300 for now.

The R600 is going to destroy the G80 (8800 series) from the looks of things. That's why I'm getting it, unless the price of the 8800 GTX drops significantly, even though personally I like nVidia more.

I agree, but the person who is buying the video card is on a budget. The R600 will definitely not be a budget card by any means.
