My Radeon 1900XT graphics just arrived, but on the box it says I need three parts for a crossfire system????

On Box:

1. CrossFire Ready Motherboard (Still Required)
2. CrossFire Ready Graphics Card (In This Box)
3. CrossFire Edition Graphics Card ( Still Required)

It says on ATI website that crossfire is there system or something for excellent gaming, but are they saying I have to still buy those parts before I can even use my graphics card?

I already have the entire computer and just want to put a new graphics card in, not buy an additional 1000$ worth of parts!

if you have a pci-e motherboard. you can run that card on it's own. but if you want to run it in crossfire meaning.. two ati cards running simultaneously. you'll require a crossfire ready motherboard and a crossfire edition videocard to run the two cards in sync. otherwise, one ati 1900xt will work on any mobo with a pci-e 16x slot.

That card is all you need to enjoy a glorious graphics experiance. :D

That other stuff is only needed if you plan on running two cards in crossfire mode.
