Got a broadband router. yay.. but still no internet :(

Hi all

got a broadband router today .. the problem is this. Istill cannot access the internet with it plugged in. I do not get limited or no connectivity anymore....

BUT only one computer will see the other...

and the internet still doenst work.

SO... how do i get the router to allow me access to the internet.?

i type in the router address and access the wizard... at the same time calling my ISP and they told me the only option i require is dynamic.

Still no internet..... The router is a SOHO cheapish wired network thingy,,

what do i do with the computer and the router to get it to work..

I think the problem is with the router as the other PC worked with my mates router at his house.

YAY FIXED IT!!!!!!!

battered the bastard on the desk then took it back to the shop.. it was DOA..

got new one and im online
