6900gt? you must mean 6800gt, anyways, does this include monitor, disk drives, speakers, keyboard, mouse?

6600GT Owns for a budget card BTW. But with a $1000 budget, you should be good. Someone will build a machine for you.

will the 3000 be enough for games like joint ops, bf2, and massive online games? i will more than likely be overclocking a little.

I have a 3000+ with a winchester core (Venice is better) and I can run games like Half-Life 2, Doom 3, and Counter Strike Source just fine. I also have a 6800GT and I run them all with "balls to the walls" graphics, and I don't have any problems. However, I did overclock mine, but you should be fine.

Does 1000 include monitor/keyboard/OS/Mouse? You have to take all these things into account. Those will set you back 250-300 dollars at least.
