Nothing really. The Intel Centrino is their mobile CPU line. It is available in both a Core 2 Duo (dual core) and Core Solo (single core) versions.

That is almost my exact same laptop, except mine is a 17", no blu ray and I have the t7500 2.2ghz processor.

I paid $1100 bucks for it last January so no, thats not a great deal IMO.

wats the differance between a core two duo, and an intel centrino

Intel Core 2 Duo is a processor, while the Intel Centrino is a chipset that includes the processor, mainboard, and wireless adapter.

intel core 2 duo is a processor from intel
centrino is a portable laptop/notebook platform which includes processor chipset and wireless card , IMO more of a marketing thing than anything else although it claims to have increased battery life over non centrino counterparts and better mobile perfroamance
