If anyones keeping up with the latest polls, Huckabee is doing pretty strong. Which is good news to me, since I voted for him! Unfortunately he is still 200 delegates behind McCain.
He may not believe in evolution, (I do), but that doesn't make him a bad candidate. He is a smart, moral man, who know whats important to Americans:
- Fighting poverty on our own soil
- Reasonable solutions to immigration problems
- Keeping jobs at home and keeping companies from outsourcing
- And the sanctity of life, (while he may be pro-life, a controversial topic, he believes that 'life doesn't end there. And we need to take better care of our kids once they're born such as giving them better opportunities and education).
- He believes we need to become energy self-sufficient. He wants to invest in biodiesel, alternative fuels, and eventually layout a plan to become significantly reliable on home-grown renewable energies.
Plus I can't say that I don't like the idea of dismantling the IRS!
