If you recieve this in your Gmail inbox... DO NOT CLICK THE LINK. It is a phishing scam. I haven't gotten this in any of my boxes yet (which is why the address is *****), but I know people who have. If you look in the headers of the message, you will see:
Received: from motgate2.mot.com (motgate2.mot.com [144.189.100.101]) (which is obviously NOT gmail) and href="http://209.67.220.164/confirm.php?email=*****@gmail.com (which is also obviously NOT gmail).

You have been warned.

I don't think so. This one is just a 'phisher'. There is no attachment or anything.

I'm sure we have all recieved similar emails from "fake" paypal asking for verification on your credit card information.

It was only a matter of time until they started to attack Gmail users.

Well I've been using GMail for quite some time now, and never had any problems or such. I basically know what kind of mail that goes into my GMail, so I don't think I would have fell for this thing, especially for the length of time I've been using GMail.
