I can control the lights in my office. Laptop = different environments. I would go with matte to cut down on the glare from lighting I cannot control.

Anti-Glare: Matte: Glossy: All the Montors where placed in the same location for the Photos. The glossy is really nice in a very dark room, otherwise forget it.
