gimme some advice

alright, hereÂ’s the scenario I have to do a presentation on electromagnetic launching (things that get launched using electromagnetism, such as rail guns, Maglev ect) anyways I should pick a specific aspect of this and talk about it, its only a short presentation about 6 slides and 10mins long, but I donÂ’t know what I should focus in on, ideas so far include:

*how history developed and why electromagnetic launching is at its current stage.

*specifically one form of electromagnetic launching such as the Maglev.

*whatÂ’s limiting its further development

any more suggestions on what I could specialise in for my presentation, based on electromagnetic launching?

i dunno bout the theory, would that be like how it works and linear motors, i dont really know much about the theory, so it could be pretty hard seeing as i have to do this on friday!

You may want to check on YouTube or another flash video site and see if there are any good electromagnet demostration videos for any of the devices listed above, that would definitely cut down on your required 10 minutes.
Also, if you google it for videos, some universities may have some good videos listed that you could put in your presentation.

I was thinking more on the lines of magnetism as applies to electromagnets...Thats the base of it. your just applying a similiar charge to two metallic objects (electro magnets) thus launching them.
