GeForce 8500

I have a 7800gt in my computer and I was wondering if the 8500 is a worthy upgrade to get (I have vista). Is it much better, or not, It is a 256mb.

Not really. I think the 8600GTS might perform better, but I'm not really sure. I would at least go with a 8800GTS 320MB card, they are around $300.

No. Get an 8800GTS if you want the same clocks.

Like the others have said, it would be best to go with at least an 8600 - 8800 series card depending on your budget. The only advantage that the 8500 has is that it's DX10 compatible. Otherwise, the performance gain is negligable.
