I should of took a picture of my old emachines before i cleaned it out... I used to have 4 cats and 3 dogs who love to jump on the keyboard and rub against the compy... and they shed all over the place...

I don't think i can describe to you how bad the hair buildup in that comp was... I pulled out hairballs the size of grapefruits... one of the fans didn't spin anymore and i couldn't figure out why till i yanked out a bunch of hair that when outside of the comp was a square, lol!

Ah maybe i'll wait for it to happen again... or better yet PURPOSELY put my cat inside (with some kind of grid barriers to protect the cat of course) with some extra fans !

Clean paint brush, I use it for cleaning the crap out of computers. A small on for the fan's PSU air vents ect an a bigger one for the case it's self.

Is it safe to brush over the top of caps, and pcbs?

yep, it's perfectly safe. Just try an get a soft, new an above all cleen brush.
