Hmm might get this fan but it's the 2 cheap case fans I have that came with the case that are giving of the most sound

I have some really quiet case fans too. I forget what I bought but i have a 120mm in the front, an 80mm on the side and an 80mm in the back.

My noise now comes from the 2 80mm's that I put on the back of my entertainment center to help with the heat buildup inside it. But once a movie is playing, u don't hear those.

I imagine that heat sink has a bit of weight to it doesn't it put strain on the board?

whats the temps like?

I get min 6 Celsius and max about 30 under load and it puts no strain on the board as far as I know

Actually it's pretty light and it lowered my temps down 8c to 10c.

Ugly, but does the job flawlessly. Better quality than OEM heatsinks, cools better and better to clean up as it collects dust much slower.

Looks like yours is bigger than mine.

I mean the heatsink.
