well I thought I might help you out...
I did a quick google search for gateway select... and it seems to have come in at least 5 different models...
depending on what model you have your computer could be anything from good to passable to unbearable...
a little more information please?

My core speed is only 698.7 MHz, is that good or bad, and also what is core speed. what is multipliers x 7.0
so you have a 700Mhz pentium...
that's well below entry level for a gaming PC... but will last you for the next five years as a work PC for just browsing the internet and everything...
so "is the computer any good?"
