True. AMD are obviously selling chips at rock bottom prices to get them out the door

It's the only way they'll maintain market share. If they try to keep the price of their Phenom processors around the same as the Core microprocessors, they'll be outclassed because Intel is superior when it comes to performance to price. So all AMD can do is dig in, go cheap and hopefully get attention that way.
