Ok I need a new rig for about £500-£600
My current rig is
quad Xeon 3.6 ghz
500w CPU
4gig ram ddr3
1tb hard drive
2gb ATI HD6450

I want something along the lines of
I7 2600k
Nvidia Gt480
8gb corsair ram
Any ideas about anything else keep in mind I don't need a hard drive
And it has to stay under £600
The OS doesn't matter either as I have a windows 7 ultimate disk at the ready, thanks in advance! :,)

What model processor do you currently have? You can use CPU-Z to help identify it. The reason I ask is because AFAIK, a 3.6GHz quad-core xeon was never made (unless you have it overclocked), but if that really is what you have, then I see no reason to get a 2600k. You'd be better suited spending your money on a better power supply and video cards.

Meant to write duel core 3.6 and yes it is over clocked so windows shows it as a quadcore for some reason.. I can run gta iv on high settings haven't yet tried battlefield but I'm not getting decent enough frames when recording although that could be fraps, I also use the CPU for heavy editing on Sony Vegas 10 and photoshop cs5 CPU-z doesn't show the mobo name either which can sometimes be trouble.. I also believe I'm due for a new pc as my xw6200 is sounding like its on it's last legs.
