game sites

well here in my high school all the site that i have tried on so on this page have been blocked, i think out admin, went off this summer and blocked like everything, because last year some virus (which them blamed on me and celegorm) to cover up for there stupidity and our lunch system was down for about a week and the internet would not load half the time, it was pretty interesting. but i think he blocked like key words or all the sites, i mean for myspace, or addictinggames he even had to block the IP address, and when i try and ping a website all them come up at a time out error,

There are tons of proxies that you can use, and you can setup a local proxy using CCProxy, or setup a circumventor with Apache and Perl..

Its pretty easy, but don't get caught.. some schools consider it hacking their local secure network which means big trouble.

yea ill try that, and our admin is really over protective, i mean they made a new rule that a teacher can take away your flash drive, so i put a password on mine, and freshman year, i had a shortcut to the command prompt and he disabled my account for a week

In most schools, they'd do more than disable the account for the week..

I've honestly seen students leave handcuffed because they were attempting to bypass the security that the techs have setup.. that means jail time, not a suspension.

dang, now that is major problem, i dont think i wouldnt go that far, but maybe ill try the CCproxy and see if it works

Just take note that for CCProxy to work, you'll need to have access to Internet Options to apply a proxy.

With a circumventor, its a URL.. (ex: http://your-ip:8080) and then it has an address bar to type the site in.. but some local schools have even begun to detect fragments of the URL, rather than the whole URL.

For example, it'd be like.. http://your-ip:8080/site.cgi?http://www.myspace.com/0324323 and it'd detect myspace.com and block it.

Plus, your submitting your PERSONAL IP into their logs.. Remember that!
