You could go onto Monster and type "game tester" and see what comes up. Personally, I think that is difficult career path to make real money at consistently. I knew someone who went that route and after a few years of decent money as a game programmer the company folded and they were out of work for a number of years and then finally took a more traditional jr. programming job.
Anyways, better to be a game tester than handing out fries at the drive thru window at night right? So be a game tester and continue your college at a state university. Do what you have to do; then do what you want to do
