is there a way to fix a mobo that has a fried bridge chip?

im pretty sure my mobo is fried. i cant do anything with the hardware thats cnnected to the mobo.

theres a small white burn hole in the chip (the southbridge? its black not silver)

its an asus p4p800s (not the E one)

the chip next to the sata connectors and the cmos battery seems to have a burn in it. is it fixable?

really sorry to tell you this but it would be best to buy a new one. I had a mobo fri on me and It was unrepairable, I spent quite a bit of money on it, possibly of you replace the CMOS battery and try and re connect the burnt circuits it my work.

If there's some sort of life time warranty, otherwise, no, you'll have to buy another board.
