fresh instal of vista

just wondering how do i freshly install vista without the cd, i currently have vista and ubuntu installed i press F10 then it takes me to the screen where i have an option to choose which operation system i want not the reformat option.

Dude, my opinion... keep with what u got and get Windows 7 when its released. Or goto XP!

Pressing F10 only gives you boot options. You could get an image of a CD to urn to one, then use your product key for it.

You really should have created an image file the last time you installed Vista, saves heaps of time and is easy to do. I suggest getting a copy of Tru Image 10.

find a recovery disk that came with ur pc. or your computer might have a function to create a vista disk which mine did.

you could just download a copy of vista (would need to be put on a dvd) and use your legal product key (assuming the vista you have atm is legal). otherwise you cant really do much, unless your pc has a recovery partition.
