What does people think of Free Software and open Source Software movements?

I think it's great that some software is free or a free edition is available especially for Windows. Open Source allows those with programming skills to customize a program for specific needs. IMO.

If it's free, I'll take it. My philosophy is, take whatever isn't bolted to the ground LOL
