free fax sotware for vista

ok firstly this is crap, vista basic and premium have no versions of fax, i spent 149$ and no fax!! I need a open source/free ware version of fax for vista if possible, i can find some cheap ones for like 30$ and if it comes to that i will buy but freeware first please.
