I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista and I hate it, I've been having problems with it and the other day it crashed and windows won't start. It comes up with an error saying a file is corrupt. I tried running the Toshiba recovery disks but it doesn't work. If I format the hard drive, will the recovery disks still work?

OR

Once I format it, can I buy Windows 7 and install it with no problems?

it is no too much big problem . first you have cd of windows xp. you just put it on the drive and follow the instruction you also partition the Vesta and windows . You can also remove it .
