It's more difficult than you'd think to re-enable & set the old windows photo viewer as default, but you can follow this guide

eh.... it's a waste of time.
Just when you get that photo viewer working your Windows will auto-upgrade to version 1903 and you'll have to do it all over again. Why bother?

Yea I know it's there cause it's one of the boxes I ticked lol. Honestly if I had money I'd donate because it's one of the most useful programs since nLite.
