Folding on the 940 and 4850

Shouldn't I be getting more points? I run GPU and CPU client all day and night, GPU gets turned off a couple hours sometimes.

1500ish ppd?? ATI are slower, Do you have fahmon? If so, what is the ppd on each, as well as the WU?

You're runnning uni processor? or did you smp?

You should be getting 2500 to 400ppd supposively..

600-800 on cpu and gpu

And I am running Uni right now cause I was having some trouble getting the SMP to work.

I thnk....... Have you set the gpu to above idle in the config?

The ppd for the cpu sounds right. You're gpus bad.

I'm betting its the priority.

I did change priority just the other day. My PPD upped 300 just since yesterday according to HFing.

I wonder if OCing would yeild much result?

Have you got fahmon? It'll tell you whAt each will net if run 24/7.

Though numbers are more important.

oKAY.. RIGHT CLICK and add a client.

Point it to the work folder

Like this:

D:\Folding\6.23\
or
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Folding@home-gpu\

It'll show this:

Didn't work. I have a work folder near My Documents, Pictures...etc on Vista. I opened up F@H files and everything.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpu

It needs to point to the folder containing the work folder.

In my case, the exe is in the program files, but work is in roaming.

Do a file search for "work" then you point to its containing folder
