Folding@HOME

I just joined the folding team, can I use any computer for this? I have like twenty computer laying around the house, can I set them up to run folding@home? Like is there any min spec?

For example, I have (8) 800MHZ, 40 GIG, 64 MB Radeon Video, 256 RAM computers. Can I hock one up then yank the monitor the the next one and do the same and keep 'em running 24/7?

The electric bill might go up but it's like hey for a good cause...

The only minimum spec is that you have a Windows 98 or above, Mac OS X, or Linux.

It's just that a slower computer will finish WU's more slowly.

Ok, thx, well I'll have more then one running so when they finish they will finish plenty

I'd recommend clustering them - you'd produce a lot more WUs, a lot faster.
